Fatigue & Low Energy Support Vancouver
Fatigue & Low Energy Support in Vancouver
Ongoing tiredness that sleep doesn’t fix is one of the most common things people come to us about — and one of the most commonly brushed off. At IV League Injections by Vicki Nguyen, RN, located within Six Clinic in Vancouver, we work with our naturopathic team to look for what’s actually behind your fatigue, rather than guessing.
Fatigue Is a Symptom, Not a Diagnosis
This is the mindset that actually gets people their energy back. Persistent tiredness can come from many things — low iron or ferritin, low B12, thyroid changes, hormonal shifts, poor sleep, stress, or nutrient depletion — and the treatment that helps depends entirely on the cause. That’s why the smartest first step usually isn’t a treatment at all; it’s an assessment, often including bloodwork, to find what’s genuinely low or off. Where a deficiency is identified, targeted support can help — but chasing energy without knowing the cause is how people waste time and money. Low iron is one of the most common hidden causes →
Common Causes of Fatigue
- Low iron or ferritin (a very common and often-missed cause)
- Low vitamin B12 or other nutrient deficiencies
- Thyroid and hormonal changes
- Poor or disrupted sleep
- Chronic stress and lifestyle factors
Our Approach: Assess First
We start by working with our naturopathic doctor to review your history and, where appropriate, your bloodwork — so any support is based on what you actually need. Depending on what we find, options may include:
Addressing Iron Deficiency
- Where low iron or ferritin is identified — see our iron deficiency and IV iron therapy pages
Vitamin B12, Myers’ Cocktail, NAD+ & IV Nutrient Therapy
- Vitamin support where a deficiency or need is identified — more on B12 and IV vitamin therapy
- Myers’ cocktail — a classic IV blend of vitamins and minerals, offered where appropriate
- NAD+ IV therapy — an option some clients choose as part of a supervised, assessment-based plan

What to Expect
Your first visit focuses on understanding your fatigue and identifying possible causes, not jumping straight to a treatment. From there we build a plan around what’s actually going on. Responses vary from person to person and depend on the underlying cause. Some concerns are best managed by your family doctor, and we’ll say so if that’s the right path.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why am I so tired all the time?
Fatigue has many possible causes — low iron, low B12, thyroid or hormonal changes, poor sleep, and stress among them. Because the right help depends on the cause, an assessment (often including bloodwork) is the most useful starting point rather than guessing.
Will IV therapy fix my fatigue?
IV nutrient therapy can be helpful where there’s an identified deficiency or need, but it isn’t a cure-all for tiredness, and it’s not the right answer for every cause. That’s exactly why we assess first — so any treatment is based on what you actually need.
Should I get bloodwork done?
Usually, yes. Bloodwork helps identify common, treatable causes like low iron, low B12, or thyroid changes. Our naturopath can review recent results or arrange testing as part of your assessment.
Is the consultation covered by extended health benefits?
Because your assessment involves our naturopathic doctor, it may be eligible for reimbursement under the naturopathic portion of many extended health plans in Canada. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend confirming your naturopathic benefits with your provider. We provide the receipts you’ll need.
What can I do on my own in the meantime?
Prioritizing consistent sleep, managing stress, staying hydrated, and eating regular, balanced meals all support energy. These don’t replace finding an underlying cause, but they help — and we’ll build on them in your plan.
When should I see my family doctor instead?
Some causes of fatigue need medical investigation, and new, severe, or persistent fatigue should be checked by your physician. We’ll always be honest if what you’re describing is better handled by your family doctor, and encourage you to see them.
